Welcome to Blesch Intermediate School

Where staff STRIVE to meet the needs of each individual child
Blesch Intermediate School is home to 420 3rd - 6th graders; with a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. Blesch offers a variety of educational opportunities including computers, art, music, gym and outdoor recreation. All students spend time each day working at their grade level in our differentiated math and reading programs. Our teaching staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of each child through a combination of classroom instruction and student centers. All of our teachers are highly qualified and create warm supportive environments with rigorous learning targets and expectations. Our teachers are cognizant of what each child needs to achieve success. Support staff at Blesch is dedicated to student growth both socially and academically. They work with students on many levels and address many needs throughout our building. Parents and community are two other vital parts of our school. These groups contribute to the needs of classrooms by volunteering time and/or resources to complete a variety of tasks, or with ongoing communication with school personnel. The community and families create a positive impact on student learning. Blesch Intermediate is a place for students to grow and prepare for their future academic career. This year Blesch will be instituting a new positive behavior program and will continue to work to enhance student experiences. Our goal is to prepare and enrich student lives in a safe and stimulating environment. We are all looking forward to the new school year and the new memories we will make.
