1. Under supervision of licensed teacher, assist with classroom activities.

3. Escorts student or students to and from locations in the building, this involves ability to maneuver 2-3 flights of stairs at times.
4. Works with individual students and groups of students in settings outside on the playground before school and during part of lunch recess.
5. Reads to student, listens to students read, and participates in other forms or oral communications with students.
6. Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work setup and assigned by the teacher.
7. Assists with the supervision of students in the library or media center and during emergency drills, assemblies, and field trips.
8. Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.
9. Provide and maintain positive public relations with students, staff and community.
